Mt Fuji and Sakura blooming view on Kawaguchiko Lake

I always known about Mt Fuji since I was young and dream of seeing it one day as of what I had seen from picture.

At last , I got to see it !!!

There are lots of places from the famous 5 lakes which of you can see Mt Fuji from and we chose Kawaguchiko lake since it is the closest to Gotemba, (where we stay)
Gotemba itself to Kawaguchiko takes about less than 30min ride but the bus fake was more than 1500Yen.

Well, once we arrive Kawaguchiko, we walked around and saw a small hill and decided to Hike up there to get a nice view.

This is how the hiking looks like right after winter.
And when we reach on the top, to our surprise it was quite empty but still but such cute doll statues.

And so I sat on one of it ! =P

But after hiking a bit further, we found this nice spot with an amazing view of MT FUJI without the fences!

It was gorgeous and we sat , had our picnic lunch and enjoyed this view.

There are also some observatory binoculars to view the city below Mt Fuji.

And a plus for the Hike, another nice view of Kawaguchiko Lake.
Worth the hike huh ?!

And while hiking throughout the way, you will still see the Great Mt Fuji which is a great motivation in order to get to the top.

Being my first time in Japan, I was so in love with these beautiful wild flowers that I cant resist to take picture with them !
( But weirdly, I would not do this in the middle of KL city =P)

Its quite a distance to the other side of Kawaguchiko but we decided to walk since there are so many full bloom Sakura trees on the way.

Looks like we are the only tourist walking so we got the road pathways to ourselves and can take as many pictures as we want with Mt FUJI
Ans we then arrived after hours of walking but still we were not tired as we are so excited to see so many more full bloom cherry blossoms.

And its not only the normal kind of Sakura trees but a mixture of different types.
And also, the midst of planting Shiba sakuras to match the full bloom sakuras in the background.

What is best and you would see most photographers here are for is to take this gorgeous picture of a sakura fuji combination.

It is sure quite popular but we were smart enough to find some rural trees away from the crowd.
We then walk further and found some super unique art gallery.

And nearby on the hill was a hot-spring we were looking for to relax after our long walk.

We paid about 800Yen for this nice hotspring which was recommended by the tourist information in Gotemba.

We got back to enjoy the twilight moment of Mt FUJI

And got too carried away with time.
and We missed our last bus back to the city centre.
But then found ourselves some nice Japanese people whom offered to give us a ride back !

They were our first ever "HitchHiking" experience.

Ps: This happend 2013March and I still remember them.
