How to get to Jawa with the ferry from Bali

After an early morning dolphin watch
on Lovina

and some rest time in our hotel

We then took a public bus / red van just from the road side, paid about 1$usd per person and it took us all the way to the ferry port area.

Then everything went easily when we arrive the ferry area and got our tickets but the weather at that moment was very bad but still the ferry left and there on the ferry, we listened to disco indonesian music and enjoy our rainy view ride.

Thankfully we arrived Banyu Wangi area safely. There is no public transport once u arrive and it's best to bargain with the tuk tuk drivers. Eventhough I spoke bahasa we still kinda paid overprice 5$ for a short ride to Sakti Perut area ( Near to the train station Karangasem) where there the hotels and restaurants are quite scattered. So I do recommend to find accomodation in Banyu Wangi city central instead.

Next, find a motorbike rental shop and rent a vehicle or bike to explore around !!
It's amazing how easy you can just get to Kawah Ijen on your own and there are much to explore around this area without going on a tour !

Here's some info on how we went to Kawah Ijen on our own on a small cc Scooter!

All d best ! Any questions just comment below ~
